If you buy or renew your coverage online, your receipt and Confirmation of Insurance will be instantly emailed to you. If you buy or renew by fax or mail and provide an email address, your Confirmation of Insurance will be emailed to you. Otherwise, your Confirmation of Insurance will be sent to you via U.S. mail.
No, however, your policy can go into effect as soon as one day after you enroll online.
Yes. Spouse and/or children (under age 18) of enrolled students can be enrolled for insurance with the student's initial enrollment, or within 31 days of birth, legal adoption, marriage or arrival in country of study. If your dependents are not eligible for Study USA-HealthCare, they can enroll in one of our other plans for people outside their home country.
First, purchase Study USA HeathCare Insurance. After your purchase (enrollment) is complete, simply fax your school's Compliance or Waiver Form to us at (610) 537-9828. We will complete it and fax it back to your school for you. Forms received by 12:00 noon Pacific Time will be faxed back to your school by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, the same day.
Yes. You can enroll in Study USA-HealthCare regardless of how long you have been studying outside your home country, as long as you fulfill the eligibility requirements in Question 1 above.

Before your existing Study USA-HealthCare coverage has expired, or within 30 days following your Expiration Date, renew your current coverage using our instant secure online renewal form. You will be sent an email reminder to do so, beginning 3 weeks prior to your coverage Expiration Date.
Those who originally enrolled by mail or fax and did not provide an email address, can renew online or by using a print form that will be mailed to you one month prior to your current coverage Expiration Date.
Yes, you can add or remove coverage for eligible dependents (spouse and/or children) during your renewal.

Yes, as long as medical services are received from a MultiPlan Preferred Provider Network member.
Pre-Existing Conditions are defined by the policy as "an injury, illness or condition which was contracted or which first manifested itself, or for which a licensed physician was consulted; or for which treatment or medication was prescribed, within 6 months prior to the effective date of the Covered Person's coverage under this Program. Pre-Existing Conditions shall be excluded from coverage for a period of 6 months following the effective date of coverage under this program. A Covered Person must be continuously insured." Yes, it covers the pregnancy of an insured student or enrolled spouse if the pregnancy begins during the coverage period. It does not cover the pregnancy of a dependent child.
Yes, Study USA-HealthCare covers the Insured worldwide, except in their country of permanent residence, where they will only be covered up to $1,000 for illness and injuries incurred within the first 30 days of entering their country of permanent residence and as long as they fulfill the requirements in Question 1 above.

If there is no MultiPlan provider qualified to provide the care needed within a 50 mile radius of your residence, you can choose to be treated outside the Network by a non-MultiPlan provider. In this situation, benefits will be paid at in-network level.
No. Once you graduate and are no longer attending school, you are no longer eligible for Study USA-HealthCare. You should instead enroll in an insurance plan for visitors to the U.S.

If the correction results in an increase in premium, please submit your check or credit card payment by fax or mail. When sending credit card details, please include the credit card number, expiration date and a statement authorizing Travel Insurance Services to charge the additional amount.
