Customer Service Representative

Full-time, reports to Customer Service Manager. Assists customers with questions about company products and/or services.

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal communication
• Able to read, comprehend and explain company products
• Good written communication
• Able to handle a variety of customers
• Legible handwriting
• Good mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Basic office skills such as: Typing 50 wpm, 10 key by sight, Filing (numeric and alphabetical)
• Ability to accomplish the described duties through use of appropriate computer and general office equipment and to meet deadlines
• High school education or equivalent experience
• Accident and Health insurance experience helpful, not required
• Cantonese speaking a plus, not mandatory

Job Duties:

• Assist customers with questions about company products and/or services
• Access database to verify information
• Mail, fax and email product information
• Proofread insurance certificates before mailing to the insured
• Data Entry
• Employees holding this position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by management
